There has been a number of important changes made to the LPA National Vendor Declaration (NVD) this year that align with the industry goal of ensuring the integrity system of the future is simple to use, valued by industry and trusted by consumers.
The changes include:
Updated versions of LPA NVDs for all species have been available since 1 July 2020, identified by version number 0720. This is now the ‘current’ version. Previously accepted versions of NVDs can continue to be used until 31 December 2020.
From 1 January 2021:
More information on the LPA NVD, including ‘How to complete’ PDF guides and animation is available here.
The mobile-friendly, user-centric eNVD system has been available to producers since April 2020. The switch to digital consignments has been steadily building with over 8,000 users per month.
The eNVD system is always the current version and is available online. For this reason, ISC are encouraging producers to become familiar with the eNVD system as either:
A ‘How to Guide’ on completing eNVDs is available.
With the new eNVD covering all information in the eDEC, but in a more user-friendly way, the eDEC system is being decommissioned. Running a single digital system will be a cost and time saving to industry.
Sale of eDEC tokens ended on 30 April 2020, and eDEC users with remaining eDEC tokens can use them up until 31 December 2020, when the eDEC system will be decommissioned.
After 31 December 2020, users who need or want to continue using an electronic version can switch to eNVD.
Accessing an LPA NVD in a hurry
In the event of livestock being transported with a non-current LPA NVD version, producers will need to use the eNVD system to generate an LPA NVD (and other declarations if applicable).
If a producer knows their LPA credentials and has access to a mobile device, laptop or desktop with internet access, they can create an instant consignment using https://envd.integritysystems.com.au/
If a producer does not have access to their LPA credentials and/or access to a device/computer with internet connectivity, they should contact the ISC Helpdesk (1800 683 111) who can assist by starting the consignment on the producer’s behalf:
